Default Oil cooler delete: what did you use to plug off radiator?

For the oil cooler delete I'm Going to take the water pump to my machine shop and have them pull the lower right tube and plug it.

But what should I use for the radiator inlet? What do you guys recommend to plug this? Thanx

You could just install the oil cooler bypass hose found on every non-KC4 LT1. Or a rubber plug + clamp would work too.

I used a rubber plug and a clamp as well. But on the water pump I tapped and plugged the hole myself. It really cleans up that area down there getting the hoses out of there. Eric L

If I may ask or if you remember, what size tap and plug did you use?

What I did is pulled the hose nozzle out of the water pump and tapped a freeze plug in there. Then I used a regular rubber hose plug in the nozzle from the radiator.

Just use the bypass hose... I have had rubber plugs get brittle and leak over time...

I got a length of heater hose from the parts store and ran it from the water pump to the radiator.

I used the Gates 18959 hose from O'reilys makes it look more original than just capping it off..
