Default car is falling apart, rear shaking now.

I basically thought I had a flat tire when i got on the gas (run flat tires though so i slowed down and stopped at the first gas station i came to) tires were fine and the shaking had stopped too What would cause this feeling? It happens randomly now. It seems like its pattern is under throttle it will start to shake, can't tell if it's from my rear, a tire or hell even my exhaust broke and is beating the **** against something. Does this strike anyone as a familiar problem or is it strange like my abs inop and brake lights coming on randomly, haven't figured that out yet either.

Examine everything in the back of the car. Could have dropped a brake pad, wheel weight, U-joint is/has failed, loose caliper/bracket, loose wheel, etc.

That is weird... It starts and stops randomly? Does it do it between specific mph's or just whenever it feels like ****** with you?

Yeah knew that was coming, sucks I only have ramps now to crawl under. Something like the U-joint or loose wheel how would i determine that?

Seems to be random now that i'm thinking about it. It's done it at 30mph and 60mph. No matter when it happens it seems like when i give it gas and I have to slow down to make it stop.

loose wheel - just check your lugnuts.

U-joint - wiggle the driveshaft, if it wiggles/moves then there's a problem.\

Also check your Torque-Arm mount on the tranny, or transmission mount; those you can just check visually. Is there any clunk when it happens? If so, it maybe one of those two.

The front of the driveshaft moves alittle. Up & down & has play compared to the rear. The rear diff fluid is slightly low about a fingers bend down. And signs the pinion seal is leaking. Shock bushings are worn out bad. So where should I start ?

The front may have some due to the tranny; check between the yoke on the tranny and the shaft itself (look for movement in the u-joint itself), there should be no motion there.

Shock bushings shouldn't matter, but new shocks are probably in order.

Top off the rear-end fluid for now.

Drive shaft out, The gear that Connects it to the trans looks shot & loose ? Is that an issue ? The u joints seem fine.

That would be the Yoke. Yokes don't typically go bad unless it cracked and they dont usually crack. There should be no play in the U joints. if it moves in the yoke or the drive shaft they are bad and need to be replaced.

From what i recall the play was all in the Yoke then. With the DS off it had no play in it, the Yoke did. With the DS on the front only had play but due because of the yoke i believe now. DS is back on now and the car still does it but not as bad. I'm sure the problem will still be there as i drive it tomorrow. Soooooo now what to check or do i start with guessing U joints and go from there?

If its a swaying kind of shaking then I would say the PHB. Same thing happened to me.

Check the bushings in the rear. May have a broken LCA OR panhard bushing.

Son of a.... New theory on my way to the gym. I noticed the issue came back when I openedy cut outs. Which would make the exhaust vibrate more possibly? So what can I stick in-between my car & exhaust to see of that's it.

So the problem is worse with cut outs open no doubt, that being said. What's the best thing to stick inbetween your exhaust and car? Wood would burn? And I don't know what plastic wouldn't melt. So suggestions? It hasn't done it since I put the DS back in and had the cut outs closed for a few days, opened them up today and tada read feels like it's slapping me in the ***. I hope it is just the pipe beating me.

Just replace the hanger that busted; that's probably what it is if the exhaust is banging around.
