Default Is 12's possible with my set-up?

Well the good air is finally here and it is time to run the car one last time. I have a track rental at Atco next month and its a pretty good bet that we will have some negative da conditions. My current best is a 13.59 @ 102.65 (2.1 60' & 3522 race weight) in 3000+da (mods in sig) with some drag radials. Since that run I've got rid of the stock clutch in favor of a Comp stage 4. Ive also had the t56 rebuilt to stage 2 specs. As far as suspension goes I have added lca relo's and comp eng drag shocks. I have also taken out another 100lbs or so by !a/c, alt relocation, !sway bar, and drag lites for the front. The car should also have an ewp before I run it too.

It put down 293rwhp and 338rwtq on a dynojet a month or so ago.

My question is, do you think that all of this combined is enough to get me 12.99 or better? Any feedback is appreciated. No trolling please (that means you Smash and Adam )

Going from bad air to good I've gained 4mph and 4 tenths before.

That said, you should easily get 12s in good air.

I wish I could cut those 60' times. Being a 6 speed with a 10 bolt there is a fine line that I have to walk. I would be happy with some 1.9's

I think you got it in good air no doubt.
My car when I had stock stall went 13.19 in like +2200 da then did 12.63 in -1245.
I believe the difference maker is a CAI kit. Gotta get that cold air in the intake.

Yes e-town. I'm starting to have second thoughts. I may call it a year for now and come back in the spring with my 12bolt and 3600 converter. I'm starting to have bad feelings about my 10bolt being called to the gods lol

Yea I keep telling myself that ^^^ but once you see one grenade in front of you, you start looking at it different. I saw my friend blow his on a 3rd gen. Alittle less power then me but on a lighter car. He runs mid 12's at a similar or less mph. Then again he had over a hunderd or so passes but no real street miles. Idk would like to go one last time this year before I start changing things

I would guess if anything did happen to the rear it would be that tiny 4.10 pinion gear. When I saw how small they are on the 7.5 ten bolt is scared me into going with 3.73.

Well if you do go and see a dirty green camaro with an unpainted hood running 12s, feel free to say hello.

^^^ that is why I travel with a jack, gear oil and wrenches to the track. If I chip a tooth I can atleast remove the cover and carnage, refill and limp home.

I speak from experience MANY 12,11 and 10 second cars running 10 bolts cutting 1.5-1.7 60' times. I went a long time on my 3.42s switched to 4.10s then ripped the teeth off of the ring and pinion 6 months later that's a 6spd..... An a4 with no stall will not hit hard enough to damage the 10 bolt.
