Default Anyone have the link to the F body exhaust comparison?

A while back I remember coming across a comparison between all the mufflers and/or catbacks available. They were all tested on car and measured in DB at idle, cruise, and WOT.

Anyone know where I can find this?

So you can gain hp by adding a muffler...how does that happen.

The magic of Ford. I also heard you can gain power if you paint your calipers red.

Not sure but I do find the DB levels pretty useful. Someone did a newer test with different mufflers but I cant remember what site its on. Seems like the tests were run on a chevy motor.

I think this is what I was talking about, I guess it wasn't on a F body. Thanks man!

Why wouldn't you be able to pick up some HP from a better flowing muffler over the stockers?

They are talking about how it had the less power without a muffler than with one. All I can guess is that it was tuned with a muffler, so I guess it really should have been tuned with each muffler used and also with no muffler to be more accurate.

Maybe, idk some cars make less torque without any back pressure though, less HP is weird though.
