Default Valve cover sugguestions

Im in the market for valve covers bc some dummy bent mine with a screw driver. Anyone know where to buy a good set or any sugguestions for some? not really looking for anything crazy. I did find some fabricated ones but they dont have the oil filler hole. Im not much on mechanics but how would i fill the oil with no filler hole?

If you do run them and have the alternator in the factory spot you also need the notch on the passenger side valve cover for clearance. I have seen push in style oil fill caps they sell at jegs or summit but you would need to drill or holesaw a spot for it. Then you would still have to drill a spot for the pcv if your running that as well or breather filters.Or the other option is if you know someone who can TIG weld, you can have them weld a threaded cap this is what I'm doing to my fabricated covers.

This is what I used without cutting the valve cover. All you do is take an angle grinder and grind a little bit of a bolt off the back of the alternator and boom fits like a glove.

Seen some real nice Canton covers and also spotted some really cool true carbon fiber covers that I'm going to get come tax time.

Yea, it was just an example on how most SBC valve covers will fit with only minimal work.

How 'bout the cheap ole' ball milled valve covers. Take the milling machine and cut the ball milled area out. Take a band saw to the cover for the alternator notch and TIG a piece of metal in there. Glass bead and coat with crinkle paint. Polish and inlay a piece of stainless with a Corvette wheel center decal. Retired and have too much time on my hands.
