Default header ground clearences

I am in the process of a mild build lt1 for my 95 camaro. The build is nothing crazy just a cc503 and valve springs, thinner Headgaskets (.027) and mild head porting. Now its time for exhaust so I have a few questions. My main goal for this car is a fun track(road course) car which means its getting lowered. I like the LT headers but do they limit ground clearence? I don't need to pass smog so I will not be running a cat. Will I need 1 3/4 primaries or will 1 5/8 primaries mid lengths do the job?
Any input is helpful!

I had longtubes on my stock height LT1 Trans Am, you would hear them scraping over the speed bumps in my neighborhood. The were all scratched up on the bottom too. Really don't know how it would have handled a drop. Well, good luck.

Getting outta these cars stock as it is kina sux, lowered REaLLY sux IMO . I had eibach springs on my 98 and getting in/out was like doing squats after rolling outt bed.. Why limit yourself to places you can drive or type of exhaust set ups to just drive around scraping the road... Is what I learned from it .. I mean in a daily driven basis you will end up hating the ****.. Just my 2cent ..
Spoiler!

How much are you lowering the car? Mine is lowered. I have about 3.5" of clearance between the lowest point of the header and the ground and have only had issues on steep angled run offs and tall speed bumps. After being on the car for the last 12 years they've never been ripped off the car yet. I actually have more of a problem with the cross section of my tubular/chassis mount torque arm.

Get mid tubes period....I have a Formula with the Eibach pro kit and it has more clearance with pacesetter midtubes than my other Firehawk with longtubes which is stock suspension. The long tubes hang lower and the bigger Y pipe bangs on every speed bump. The pacesetters fit great and they are cheap.

My LPPs were money at stock height, they had too much clearance I had to hammer the drivers side behind the collector because they tucked up so much. You get what you pay for. Pacesetters will do the job but if you go with a quality header your clearance shouldn't be an issue.

I plan on lowering the car 1.25".there is a lot of mixed opinions on this subject.but if the MAC mids are good and has a guarenteed tuck then I will probably go with that.
