Need some arp parts numbers asap for factory forged rods
Hey guys I have some 93-94 Factory forged lt1 rods. Anyways I am rebuilding my engine and want to get some arp bolts so the machine shop can install them. All I keep finding say they are for the powdered metal ones which is part number 134-6005. Will those work or are there another set.

I went a very long time on the stock 3.42s, 6speed, tire and spray....... I put 4.10s in there and that's when all the problems began! HUGE difference in performance!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, the 4.10s only lasted7 months bye bye teeth.
8.8 w/ 3.73s now baby!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to launch at 5500 on the bottle.....
Great purchase bro, that plate is a KILLER product from Nitrous Outlet

All Chevy LT1 (as well as LT4) rods are powered metal. They're considered forged rods. The only bolts listed in the ARP catalog is their 134-6005 and will fit your stock rods.
If the 134-6003 will fit, there's five levels of better bolts that might match. I would suggest calling ARP for fitment guidance.
HOWEVER, if you need bolts better than the -6005's, you'd be well advised to upgrade to "real" forged rods that come with better ARP bolts.

Well I dont need the 6005. The 93 and early 94 cars had forged rods. They are called the pink rods. Mid 94 to 97 they had the powered metal ones. Anyways after some research the 6003 is the bolt I need. Then again I could just switch to the powered metal.
