Default EGR block off plate, gasket or RTV???

The UMI instructions sat to use RTV as a gasket, does this work or am i better off with an actual gasket. also, what should i use for a gasket on the air tube fitting on the headers to install that block off plate?

I just used a gasket and secured the plate on. As for the feed line from the header i left it as normal so the header wouldn't have a leak.

LOL! Yeah its worth the extra 10 seconds to put the RTV on it so it wouldn't leak.
