You didn't say what kind of car. This one has not been painted yet. Just black glass. Painting it as soon as I get my carport close in and made into a garage. Everythings got to be such a project.....Geesh.

I'm wanting to get a harwood for mine. What type do you have in mind? You'd find something if you searched the appearance section, I'm sure.

It's a bit costly but Linda a Toledo Pro gave me a good discount because I'm so old. Maybe she just wants me......nah, probably not. I got it for just a bit over a grand but I need the height for the single plane setup I'm going with. I got it and installed it the same day. Took about two hours. There's been no fitting, sanding or anything done to it. It's the original black gelcoat. So yes, it is costly but it is a quality product so I guess it's worth it.

I saw that deal on CF a while back and almost jumped on it. Instead I am making a custom one. 1 off but stock cowl. HSR FTW (L98 not LT1)

You have to prep it anyway, just use some filler, then prime. If your not doing the painting, let the painter worry about it. Any good painter will do his own prep.

Loving that vette! The only thing that throws off the hood to me is the indent for the emblem.

I hope it will look a little better with the emblem in it. I got the chrome emblem to match the wheels and bar. Besides, it's all about wind resistance. Don't you know that things that stick up slow your car down. Recessed is best.
