I bought a used QTP and so far its still working mint and i open/close it frequently. By far the best mod for an adjustable version Borla!

I have a 3-inch McCord Power plate with a standard cut-out from JEGS. Fits nice and snug under the passengers seat with plenty of clearance. I use the smallest plate. Nice low tone, but can open it up with the cut-out wired to my ashtray.

I forget which brand, but the "low profile" ones especially if you are lowered.

DMH w/o a doubt. Texas Speed now sells DMH or you can buy direct from the source. I just placed a order with the guys at DMH yesterday. Best prices hands down plus you get a 4 year warrenty no questions asked where QTP only offers a 90 day, No brainer. Plus there's a reason why Texas Speed now sells DMH instead of QTP....you do the math!

That would be QTP that has a lower profile. I've put DMH cut outs on my lowered fbody's before and there was still plenty of clearance. Plus the DMH are rated for more torque applications over the QTP.

That is why i posted i bought mine used and still running to this day without an issue. IMO the reason alot of the e-cutouts die is cause people are running them in there Y pipes and they get so hot that they burn out. If you run it in the right tail pipe of a borla it doesnt get that hot and probubly why they last so much longer. Im not saying DMH isnt the way to go as they are with a nice 4yr warranty. But the point im trying to make is any cutout you buy used you dont have a warranty to go with it or it may complicate things if passed onto someone else.
