What did they change on it?

Cause I know a SBC manifold will work the bolt pattern is just different.

Google up LS1 heads then LT1/SBC heads and you should find your answer

Think if I go this route I will just have my heads drilled for a SBC pattern and use the SBC manifold.

Well they make a LT1 Carb specific intake manifold but I was tossing around another idea which is why I wanted to use a SBC or a LS1 intake, but that idea was dumb for what I plan on doing.

Ummmm......An LS1 intake will in no way fit an LT1.

If you want a single plane intake just have an sbc redrilled for the LT1 bolt pattern and angle or have the heads drilled and tapped for the standard sbc pattern like this.
