95 Z-28 and Pacesetter LT's hitting the passenger floorpans, ughhh help!
So about 500 miles ago I finally got my Pacesetter Armor Coated LT's and Y pipe on my 95' LT1 Z-28. What do you know every time I even get on it a little the headers bang up and down on the floor pan.
I took the car over to my local exhaust shop, the owner has several performance cars of his own, he said without taking the headers off, or using a shorter motor mount, there is no way to remedy the problem.
So I have 2 Questions. A) Has anyone else had this problem and B) What the heck do I do about it?
Thanks in advance for your responses!

I had a piece of rod welded onto the top of mine, sorta shaped like a half rectangle. It was snug up against the floorboard. I then took a piece of hose and slid it onto the rod, wedged nice and snug between the floorboard. Worked great.

Mine only hit on the driver side floor where there is a brace that runs the width of the car there.
Flattened it out with a hammer and header wrapped it because it ran close to the fuel lines.

I had the same problem with the exat same set up, very very annoying, ended up pulling the Y and piping up some straight pipes with 90's shot out under the rockers.
