If it's an all out LPE f-body it will have a very well built 383 with stop notch parts, CNC'd heads, port matched intake, 211/219 .533/.560 112lsa cam, LPE/Acell throttle body, some sort of emissions legal headers going into the stock y-pipe and then possibly an aftermarket catback of some sort, possibly Borla and maybe aftermarket wheels. At least something along those lines if it's an all out legit LPE car.

Yes it's not a powerhouse by any means. The packages were for us conservative folk who wanted more power, but did not want to mess with emissions and driveability. The strokers were rated somewhere in the 440hp range. My heads/cam/intake LPE LT4 package on the stock block through the stock y-pipe and cats made 350rwhp and 350rwtq with the SLP 2OTL cat back and went 12.6 @ 110. The hp and torque curves behaved identically, but were of course a little higher. After wanting more power I did Hooker LT's along with an off-road y-pipe and it dynoed 370rwhp and 350rwtq and went 12.0 @ 115mph full weight with LT headers and offroad y-pipe.
There was a member named ABBA (I think) that had the LPE 383 in a T/A and I believe was in the high or mid 11's full weight through full exhaust before modifying the heads, going with a cam that was a touch more aggressive and ending up in the low 11's.
Are you just curious or see one for sale somewhere?

Yeah I see one that's 200 miles away from me but I couldn't find any information at all on it so I wanted to check out the credibility of it.

What do you think?

I'm wondering about the cam specs since LPE's 211 cam was out of breath by 6200rpm and it has a 7000rpm rev limit. I'd ask for cam specs, scanned receipts and time slips before going that far to take a look at it.

Because it is a 350 ci making 410 hp but it sounds like the 383 should be making that power from what you said. Correct?

No. As stated I was making roughly 400 flywheel with the LPE setup through cats and around 420 through LT's and off-road y-pipe (15% driveline loss from chassis numbers). I am pretty sure LPE rated their 383 LT1's around 440 flywheel hp.

If it was built by LPE at the Decatur IN. facility they probably have the VIN on file to verify authenticity. Plus I'm sure the heads will probably have a stamp 'job' number on the heads, which is another way to verify LPE's parts that were installed by someone else. Good luck and nice find!
