Default LT1 HID hi/low beam relay plug

I just got a true HID kit for my 96 Trans Am. I got a full kit with the new housings, ballasts, 6000k bulbs, and a relay. I have everything figured out except where to plug in the hi/low beam relay...the part that looks like a 3 prong socket that i am suppose to plug into where the stock hi/low beam is. I cannot find this anywhere. The kit is suppose to be all plug and and play. Where do i unplug the stock hi/low beam so i can plug in this HID kit. The plug looks like this....

That is a H4 socket plug and our cars use a slanted plug where two will fit but the other won't. You can depin the one lead and plug it in manually but it will look rigged. I tracked down some nice conversion plugs from Blackbird Lighting Solutions which worked perfectly.

this is the auction i won. The 3 prong socket isnt pictured but i do have one. Can I get a link to a better kit?

I would prefer a kit with a full relay set up so the headlights arent stealing power from other parts of the car to power them up and so they dont flicker.

Holy smokes! Those look great but $650 i cant do that. Anything more economical? I know there are a bunch of f-bodys with HIDs and i dont think everybody uses those. Any other options?

You get what you paid for. Ive seen a bunch of wack HID wannabe lights on ricers and domestics and i can only think those are the ones that people create themselfs. Some come out good but most look worse than when stock. The ones that look good, had a lot of work put into them.

Id save up for blackbirdlighting

OP, I am currious if you bought the ones another member linked to a few posts up?

Do yours have a real projector built into them, something like in this picture... http://tlc80.com/images/ksenon_xenon...rzerobka08.jpg

A lot of times the knock off projector housings have a fake "projector" IE they just have the glass piece infront of the bulb, etc.

There aren't a lot of 4x6 projector housings out there, and a lot less that will fit in our cars due to the projector being to long when the headlights are in the down position.

I've been looking for a 4x6 projector housing that will fit in the space we have for in our cars. If you wouldn't mind PMing me where you bought yours from I would appreciate it.

I just bought an LT1 f body for a DD and I need to do something about the horrible lighting. I think I am going to buy a few of the china 4x6 projector housings and see if one of them has a decent light pattern with some 4300k phillips bulbs and Nissan ballasts that I have laying around...

The ones posted have a piece of round glass in front of the lamp. These are not true projectors and the output will be pretty crappy.

Better than just a piece of plastic I guess.
