Default Missfire and bad exhaust leak HELP!!!

Hey guys, got my woman a 1996 trans am, almost identical to mine lol anyways. We went a head and got the following.
1. Pacesetter 1.34 longtubes
2. Pacesetter off road Y pipe
3. Another dynomax bullet, dumped before axle

Took it to a gentleman who had good rep for custom exhaust work, and quoted me 250 to put the headers on. Upon arriving at his shop i was SHOCKED when he said 769.45.... Anyway, while i just about lost it, i thought ok he said he had a 2 hour long fight with 2 bolt on the left side.
So i paid, we left an all was good untill 35 minutes of driving...

Then **** hit the fan, i started to hear a ticking LOUD ticking. To top it all off the car started to fall on its face. BAD BAD header leak on the side they had problems with, and when i stopped in today he also told me he left the O2 sensors un hooked because he didnt have the extensions, which he did.

Long story short the car has a bad leak, and is running rough. Is the roughness from the o2 sensors, or the leak....Or both. Let me know what you think i can take a video if you need more info.

It's from not having O2 sensors hooked up.

Well when i took it back to him he gave me the run around and i said, look man it wasnt doing that before, and those o2 sensors need to be there. I just dont see why the header would be leaking after 30 minutes of driving. They dont have the best header bolts, but i have been using the ones that came with my pacesetters for a while now with no leaks. Thanks again guys!

Sounds like a shady shop. The bolts are probably loose or the gaskets blew out. I know it is a pain to tighten the back bolts. Plug those o2's in also. That will make it run like poop.

Yeah last time i ever take anything to him. Im going to tighten them down and see if that help, and connect the 02's. Im just curious why it ran good for awhile and then once the leak happened, it started to fall on its face.

it was probably running in open/close loop whichever one it is on first start and before the car warms up. i know with my pacesetters i had an exhaust leak aparently with the copper anti sieze my a few bolts slowly backed out luckily i got to them in time haha. Tighten bolts hook up 02 sensors you should be good to go
