Default exhaust ideas!

In the interest of keeping things cheap and simple, I would like to just stick a resonator type muffler on the end of my y-pipe and throw on a turn down at the end. Has anybody else done this?

pacesetter longtubes
off road y-pipe
and maybe a thunder stick muffler or gmmg(if I could find one)

It seems like it would be about the same as true duals with bullets and turn downs, maybe a lil quieter?? I have a y pipe off LT's and into the loudmouth and it's rowdy! lol

My exhaust is basically just a full size magnaflow 4x9 muffler right after my Y and thats it. The bigger muffler has more sound control then a bullet while still making plenty of noise when I want it to.

Im going to go the off road x route. Anyone feel that running the Y is better than the x or is it just a ground clearance thing?

I did the Y for a few reasons. Ground clearance, cost effectiveness, weight and the use of a full size muffler over a bullet.
