Default LPP Stainless Headers Poll!!! PLEASE COME IN!!!

LTXers, LPP is known for making quality, beautiful headers for out LTX F-Bodies! They make them in limited numbers and not often. I have had a set of their Gen 2 headers on my car for 2 years now and they are now working on Gen 3 headers! There are 4 test sets out there right now, and they are awaiting feedback from the members who have the sets about fitment and flaws, and they are awaiting pictures. Once they get the pictures and feedback, they will make any necessary revisions, and then begin mass producing them! They have one test set with a Satin finish and a Y-Pipe left at $550, and upon the submission of the feedback and the pictures they will refund $100. If you are interested, let them know on the LTXTech site. Once production begins, they will have Polished and Satin finishes.

The lack of cooperation from the members with the test sets has LPP questioning whether or not they should go forward with the headers, or drop LTX altogether! Their headers are AMAZING and this would be one less vendor to offer new LTX parts. If you DO like the LTX platform, and would like to see LPP continue to create new products for our cars, PLEASE go vote! I know this is the other site, but they need to know that we will support them, and that their time will not be wasted. Please go vote!

I have a set for my 1995 Z28 that have been on the car for several years and they still look great! I have also never blown a gasket on them (a major issue with the previous headers I was running). I also run a set on my wife's 1999 LS1 Firehawk. Best header out there for the price.

Out of curiosity, I got this from a "test" header page on ltxtech, and was wondering what was going on here.

Is this the final finish or a work in progress?

It's from this thread:
http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread...headers-are-in!

They are a test fit, but I am curious as to if the primaries are, or will be finished up more than what's in that pic.

Wow thats news to me. I remember the install thread for the old LPP's.... I remember one guy who had a pin hole at the spike on the collector that caused a slight leak. Hmmm. Hopefully they can pull there act together 100% for the gen 3 headers...

DVS, those issues were with Gen 1 LPP's...agreed some of it was BS, but they have MASSIVELY upped the quality. The Gen 2's (which are what I have) have performed EXCEPTIONALLY well, look GREAT, and I have never had any issues with blown gaskets.

As for the picture above, I will inquire to it because it looks sketchy, but could very well be merely because they are an unfinished product. The test headers are out to find any bugs...once they are documented and corrected, the final products will begin. I will update when I get a response.

Here is response that Thor received from LPP regarding the ports in the picture above...

"After they are welded up they are ground inside to smooth the welds and match the gaskets"
