Default End of Season...11.0...figures!

Today was the last time I could make it to the track this season, ended up with an 11.09 @ 121. That's 1.1 tenths and 2.6 MPH better than this springs best. Close but no 10.9 like I wanted. DA was around 800. The MPH are there for a 10.9 but the car is just too heavy...

60 ft. 1.50
1/8 mph 96.54
1/8 et 7.03
1/4 et 11.09
1/4 mph 121.00

...or it's that damn truck transmission.

You should throw yours in the trash now or you will be stuck in the 12's for ever.

Good Times! 3640lbs, you haven't pulled all that much weight out of that thing?

I did pull some this year but adding the roll bar, 4l80e, and 12 bolt put it right back in.

C'mon. One more attempt this saturday. It's supposed to be in the high 40* range. Just remove the front and rear bumper supports, and use my slicks and bias-plys. Those plus the colder weather and you have your 10.99.

I want to but have surgery on Thursday so I don't think I'll be able to drive by Sat. Pretty tempting though. Maybe I'll let you drive it for me.

Ha. I think my extra weight would offset the colder weather.
Good luck on thursday.

Nah, don't really care what it puts down for power. I'd rather be a track king than a dyno queen. lol

why not go bigger injectors and E85?
that should give you some extra hp to help get you into the 10.99

Well, I was able to go back to the track again with the help of family and friends. Still didn't get the 10.9 but got another new PB. 11.01 @ 121.91. Was pretty happy none the less.

I think I would've ripped the passenger seat out and hit it one more time just for the number, lol. Car is flying for sure man, congrats on the new PB! Are you trying to go for numbers full weight, no A/C, what's the overall goal (obviously 10.XX, but under what parameters)?

All seats were removed for that run. Just hoping for a 10.9 slip NA, then maybe spray to a 9.9.
