"Race car" on the street.
Needed to do some test hits after getting her back together, so the guys offered to film that evening's shenanigans. Mark even edited some footage and made a video.
Not tuned yet, but it's fat so OK to do some pulls. Crankcase evac kit and dyno session to nail the tune down are both coming up .
Thanks to a buddy for the dealer tags and insurance card from his dealership.

That's a great question. Still have a ways to go after several years of bad luck with the car. It will also depend on whether a few friends are going.
Yeah, the main purpose of taking the car out was to do some test hits. The video was a byproduct.

It sounds great but, I wil tell you what that built 4L60 won't last long down shifting it like that. Mine will make pass after pass at the track no issues but it doesn't take long on the street when a beat it like you were.
Hope you make the shootout.

Thanks guys. It's good to have it back up and running. I'd dragged my feet over the last few months, and was busy with other car projects, but finally got it back up on March 1st. Need to synch schedules with Tony and get it tuned and then hit the track. It's been too long.

Cool video.. But ya for some reason them 4l60e's are ok when up-shifting but won't last long when down-shifting..
