Default L67 (supercharged 3.8) 36# fuel injectors?

Does anybody have any info on running these on an LT1? Whats involved in the swap and where is the best place to get a set of good ones? Or is there a better budget injector for a modified stock cube LT1?

You can get a flow matched set off of eBay for around $120 or a set picked from junkyard cars for about 2/3 that. I usually sell sets that I find for around $80 shipped. Another L67 injector from the same gen has the part number 0280155737 and is identical in flow, offset, impedance, and connector. The only difference is a silver metal ring near the bottom.

Actual flow at 3 bar is debated regularly. I've heard 312cc (definitely wrong), 354cc (= 33.7 lb which is what I usually use in my tunes @ stock 3 bar rail pressure), and 375cc (I think = 35.7 lb and the spec is from GMPP because they were an upgrade for Vettes, rail pressure might be higher).

I've been running a set of junkyard 811's on my car for over a year, no complaints. I clean them up, check the solenoids, resistance, and run a bit of cleaner through each.

How modified is the engine 36# is going to likely be a lot of overkill.

I would look for flow matched as OEMs will allow something like a 10% variance across a set. I had the original injectors for my car tested at one point and they varied 8% and one was dead.
Start modifying an engine and the rich and lean injectors happen to fall at cylinders that happen to already be rich or lean due to intake flow and you could end up with even greater fueling variation.

If you want to junkyard scrounge I would try to find 3 sets get them flowed and make two sets matched as close as possible and sell one set.

Is the same true for the Bosch IIIs? They seem to be a little more responsive when looking at the low pulse width values in the tune compared to stock. The 811s are the same ones sold directly by GMPP as an LS upgrade and they already came on ASA corvettes. They seem pretty solid compared to the crap that came on our motors stock.

I've also been running the 811's in my car for a while now (~50k Or so) and have no complaints. I pulled about 3 sets and cleaned and tested them just like catmaigne did. No issues at all here. I did replace the one rings though.
