LT1 build ideas
Hey, I'm planning on building a 383 stroker, I called Lloyd Elliot at Elliot port works and he recommended Lunati 60123 cam with TrickFlow 23 Degree heads. Does anyone have those on their LT1 build and any dyno sheets? Also, what is the best quality as far as pistons, connecting rods, push rods, etc...All inputs are highly appreciated!

Mahle pistons and Callies (forged) crank & rods are considered very good. Heads & cam combos are best sourced from LE or AI.
"who" builds the motor regardless of the parts used is a critical element. The best parts in the wrong hands mean nothing. Machine and assembly work need to be spot on and a concise build plan with clear end goals needs to be established. High end parts and qualified/quality work are not cheap so don't expect bargain prices.
once your new bad *** engine is done a tune and all "supporting" mods behind it are also needed to allow the new found HP to get to the wheels.

Realistically getting 450rwhp from a built NA LT1 383 through an Auto is possible. And can be daily drivable too, if done right. But 600 isn't.
Shoot for a 450rwhp 383 and add a 200 shot of NOS (build for NOS while you're doing this) and you have a realistic goal.
