Fouling plugs constantly.
Ok, so we got my 353 LE 21* Trickflow LT1 running. Then it stopped. I'm running the NGK plugs recommended for 12 to 1 static compression. Engine is about 11.1 to 11.2 compression but I plan on running nitrous. The plug were fouled so we replaced them, gapped them at .035 and after replacing my wire harness, opti, coil, ICM and plug wires, the car finally ran after 18 months. It was rough so I scanned it and an MAF code came up over and over. Replaced the MAF but found the plugs were covered in fuel and black as night again. The smell of fuel when it was running was overwhelming. I assume this was from the bad MAF. We cleaned the plugs and set the gap to .029 and it sounded like it was trying to start but wouldn't.
I think I should go one step hotter on the plugs. What do you guys think? Also the tune on the car is from Bryan Herter and I'm running ford green top injectors. They are a 42# injector but Bryan said they flow about 44# on my application so the tune is set for these injectors.
Any help is much appreicated. I have so much time and money into what was supposed to be a 9 second Street car but I haven't even been able to get it running correctly.

Sometimes it fails in random temp readings, it only throws a code if its always at -40. My truck didn't throw a code until it totally failed. It's $12, worth a shot. Make sure you do the one in the waterpump, not the side of the block, the one in the block is just for the gauge.

If Lloyd did the heads, ask him. He'll tell you what he likes best. I fouled two sets of NGK plugs until Lloyd suggested Autolite 106's, and I've never had a problem with them. They're cheap as dirt too.
Also, PCM For Less likes to tune rich. I'd recommend a better tune from someone like Moe.

With 11.8:1 I was fouling Autolites with 8 heat range (recommended for 12:1).. I stepped down to a 6 heat range and they were perfect. Check the O2 sensors are healthy.. or just replace them like any maintenance item. If they are loading up the fuel, it will be saved in long term trims and used when starting the car. If you are seeing the PCM commanding a lot of fuel in the long term trims, do a battery disconnect for 20 minutes and clear them out.. see how it runs.

No open headers yet. Will be running cutouts soon though. I think I'm going to try a 6 or 7 heat range ngk and just try to get this thing running NA. Also, if I had someone else tune my car, how would I get it dyno tuned. They are the only good lt1 tuners anywhere near me that I am aware of.
