Default 93 LT1 Overheating

My car was cooling just fine then i flushed the radiator and it started overheating at highway speeds. i ran both fans to a switch so they can both be on at the same time and that still hasnt fixed it. water pump works and the thermostat is two months old. anyone have any idea on what can be wrong. thank you in advance

More than likely there is still air in the system. Is the air dam still attached?

Did you read up on the correct procedure for these cars? It's a little different than most, if you didn't use the two air bleeders, you've certainly got air in the system

That air dam is a necessity more than people realize, get it back on there; if your water pump is in good shape and you have no air in the system it'll be back to normal.

Default Air dam

Now what if I can't get it back on there because my new bumper is from the junk yard and someone cut the part where it bolts on will cutting the fake ram air scoops on my hood making them real ones make a difference

Fans on at highway speeds might actually hurt airflow too.

That air dam is required for cooling. Find any way you can to get it back on. Even if you need to fabricate a bracket your self
