Z28/CC305/A4/3.42 Time Slips
#1
Z28/CC305/A4/3.42 Time Slips
Took my 1995 Z28 to the track for the first time this year, yesterday evening. Went to London Dragway in London, KY.
The combination is:
Shortblock, heads, intake, and throttle body are stock.
Pacesetter Longtubes w/ORY
K&N CAI & TFS Elbow
Comp Cams CC305 w/ 1.6 RR's
EWP
Vigilante 2k stall & 4L60E trans built by Wicked Performance of Somerset, KY.
7.5 10 bolt rear, 3.42's, mini spool.
Cut springs, comp engineering rear drag shocks, Wicked Performance rear trailing arms, and relocation brackets.
M/T 255/50/16 Drag Radial.
Tuned by James Short of ShorTuning.
And here was the results. All left lane passes.
Decided to go ahead and load up the nitrous tune, then hit it with a 150 wet shot and it backfired at the top of first gear. Had the car do a hiccup on the 1-2 shift before, so I think that might have been the cause. Torched the mass air on the car, so it got to drive home on SD.
This is what I finished with last season. Nice November day at Bowling Green. Left lane.
