Default a quick oil press. question

I just want to run this by someone for their thoughts. My car has been sitting for a while and now my oil pressure gauge sits at 60 psi when the car is off. But when i start the car, the gauge shows up to 100psi. This is a cluster issue, not the pressure sensor correct?? Thanks

Maybe the needle moved or slipped on the shaft?

Yea, if the needle slipped 60 marks, so 60 is actually 0 and 100 is now 40, that would be normal. I dunno just shooting in the dark here, unless you have something clogging the bypass.

I ended up putting a mechanical gauge on it today and I'll probably end up just using it for now on
