Default Need advise on my 97 LT1

I have a 97 camaro with lt1 running 11:1 compression been tuned. I have couple questions I need help on.

1. My stock injectors apparently have gone bad and had a set of ls1 injectors given to me. I've noticed they are slightly shorter than mine so will they work.

2. What type of plug should I run and what gap.

How do you know the injectors are bad? For 11:1 compression you should run a NGK TR6 plug or equivalent heat range from another brand.

I would probably run NGK TR55's if you're naturally aspirated.

I can smell raw fuel, also I have a bad vibration while driving like the engine is flooding. Has no power on acceleration.

Yes it is naturally aspirated. What gap should I run them I've been told 0.35 to 0.50 so what is the perfect gap for this motor

Would a local speed shop have the adapters. I'm worried about leaking they don't sit all the way down in the manifold when put in fuel rail I can see the o ring in the manifold opening. It's flush but not sure if it will leak

I have 11:1 compression and used to run TR55's. Here's a link to the thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...park-plug.html That should help you a ton.

Thanks a bunch for the advise. I changed my fuel injectors with ls1 injectors, car ran great even smoked tires down the whole street but now is acting the same bogs down and stumbles on acceleration. Now I haven't changed the plugs yet from the injectors being bad also noticed a arcing plug wire on # 5 cylinder against the header. So I guess what I'm asking is can the plugs and wires make it act like this with engine vibration while driving or is it more serious I'm at a loss. Also when the engine is cold or has sat for while it runs fine I guess once it gets heat on it this is when it starts. Hope someone can help me out

Also saw it could also be my tps throttle position sensor. Apparently it controls my timming which this seems all like it is a symptom of it being off

No power, raw fuel smell, bogged down, stumbling, arcing on #5, engine vibration... all that sounds to me like one or more of your cylinders isn't getting spark. You never told me how you knew your old injectors were bad.

I lifted the fuel rail up with everything attached had my wife turn the key on engine off and had two injectors dumping fuel.

Want to say thank you to all who responded. I got problem fixed car runs great. I had 2 plugs on the d. Side loose along with two cylinders not firing and all plugs were gas fouled. Replaced my injectors with ls1 30lbs injectors put ngk tr55 gapped at 0.50 and changed my wires and oil runs awesome now. Hope some day I can repay y'all with advise. This is my second lt car I have owned.
