Default Roll fenders or nah with 315s on 17x11?

Finally got my car to inspect, now she's on the road I'm gonna spend some money on it it's already got most bolt ons (minus headers) but soon I'll get those too. I'm planning on running some 17x11 SS style clones off oe wheels, and running some 315 sized tires! Anybody have trouble without rolling the fenders with this size tires? Probably gonna stick with 275s up front on 17x9.5 SS clones. Get that staggered look! Please post pictures if your running this combo

Really depends...it's kind of hit and miss. Take mine for instance....I'm not even lowered but it rubs a little on the inside even with beating the inner wheel well. I rolled the fenders and no rubbing there. Also depends on the 315 tire itself. I was running BFG dr's which are some of the widest 315's out there

Probably should have noted I am lowered... Meh. I'll for sure hit since I'm a street car. Probably won't rub though, if the fenders are rolled. I was looking into the BFG's. How well did they hook up??

Any reason you want to shell out the extra coin for OE 17x11s instead of finding stock SS wheels? A 275 hooks fine at stock power level, bigger tire is just heavier and more expensive.

They did great n/a at around 450 rwhp, but not so good on the nitrous lol. The two things I didn't like about them were they wore super fast and handled like crap.

Default Roll fenders or nah with 315s on 17x11?

I run Toyo TQs 315s on 17X11 TT2s. Lowered (BMR springs w/ Koni). I don't rub and I haven't rolled the fenders but I have a narrowed S60. Had to cut on the bump stops though.

I like the wide tire look in the back. Ehh, they're not that much more expensive than 275's. I did think about the weight thing. I might end up going 275s all the way around on SS clones. Just love that 315 look...

The 315/295 look is sweet, but for me, being a 12 second car, I felt like a poser.

I think it really depends on the car, the gear, trans, and the driver. A street 275 wasn't getting the job done with my M6 car and 4.10s.

Now I have 18x10.5 on the back with a 315/35 Toyo drag radial and it hooks pretty well. I had to BFH the **** out of my inner fenders to get it to fit but didn't cut the bump stops (although I did some minor grinding). Fenders aren't rolled because there is nothing there to roll... car has an interesting history. I am also lowered on BMRs and the tire used to get chopped up on rough roads with factory foam bump stops. I put on poly ones from a Jeep on not too long ago and I think it stopped rubbing.

I BFHed my fenders a long time ago for my old 9" and 27s, and my 295s fit perfectly and I could slide a finer between the tire and inner wheel all the way around. I would get a poly or rod ended phb and lcas though to prevent movement.

I'm running 315/35ZR17 (Nitto 555 Extreme ZR's) on OE Wheels 17x11 ZR1 (SS) Replica's. I had to roll the fenders and BFH the inner fender wells (I'm lowered about 1.25") I still rub on the inside occasionally on big bumps and hard corners with bumps.

My 15” RTS aren't too relevant, but I basically put on 28" 305 and I cut bump stops, rolled fenders but still having problems in the bfh area. I may just lengthen the Lcas. But thats where the probs show up on slammed cars and small tire DR setups.
