Default 94-95 Tuning

Just wondering what the best way to tune an OBD1 LT1 car nowadays is since mail order tuning is really the only option. About to throw a cam/stall/rear gear in my 94 Trans am. Thanks.

Been hearing nothing but bad things about PCM4less here lately.

Moe Bailey is the go-to guy for the folks over on the LTx forum. I've used PCM4L, Solomon, Moe Bailey and PCM Performance. PCM4L will pretty much relieve you of your hard earned cash and send you back a near-useless lump of PCM and tell you to pound sand. Solomon's tunes were pig rich and LOADS of timing. PCM Performance was decent, but Moe got my tune nearly spot-on. Plus, he's way more responsive via email than the rest of em

Moe's contact info is: moehorsepower@peoplepc.com

Just got a tune from Moe to replace a pcmforless tune. I haven't uploaded it to the pcm yet but I'll post up how it turns out.

Forgot about this thread until now. I've been driving with Moe Baily's mail order tune for a while now. It runs worlds better than the pcmforless tune. Before it would jerk and had not part throttle response. I used to think it was just the way the cam behaved. Nope, it runs much smoother now with much better part throttle/low rpm performance. I'm sure it will get even better when he tunes it in person.

No complaints here, I've driven my car on Moe's tune for awhile now and it drives great! Spot on tune, would recommend.

I was satisfied with my pcm4l tune but I need a pcm now and if I can get a good one ill take it to rpm motorsports in raliegh nc they can dyno tune obd1 cars

there might be a place that can dyno yours if you make some calls and do some digging

you can also do your own tuning with a computer and some software

I used Solomon this past time. Good communication. We went through about 7 different revisions of my tune to get it right over the course of two weeks. Emailing datalogs and tunes back and fourth. It was pretty cool.
