Default F Body knock module in B Body ECM??

Hi there, I've got a 1995 B Body iron head Lt1 retro fitted in a 4x4, I've previously run it on a holley throttle body and also a holley carb. I'm currently swapping it back over to the original fuel injection, The ECM is a 16188051 out of a 1995 Camaro, I've reflashed it with EEhack and Tunerpro to put a B body Bin file into it and have removed all the VATs and emissions stuff, the ECM still has the Camaro single knock sensor module, can I run the module with only 1 knock sensor using the B Body Bin or will I have to find a B body knock module and run 2 knock sensors, I can only fit 1 knock sensor onto the engine because of the block hugger header clearance so that would cause an additional problem if I have to run both knock sensors, thanks for any help

two knock sensors were for OBD2 (96 cars). earlier years had the one, DS I believe. You should be fine with the 95 (OBD1) ECM/tune

??, is it the original block to the car?

If so I stand corrected on 95 B-body having 2 and being OBD1

I know there is a part # difference for 96 vs 93-95 knock sensor itself

The F-body 95, courtesy of shbox.com, shows just 1

OP, can you see in the B-body bin file you have if it shows 1 or 2 knock parameters??

I have the original block sitting in my garage - also had 2 knock sensors. YMMV!

well Atlanta thanks for clarifying.

Maybe the OP can "tune out" one in the B body bin....Tuning the PCM is above my pay grade

My B-body has a M6 tune but is a 96 with 2 KS (OBD2)....but my tuner seems to have no issue in turning thing on/off in the tune

My ECM is 16188051 1994/1995 so its OBD1

from what I've found through all my google and forum research that ECM was used for B body and F body, they both used different knock modules in the ECM,

16177700 knock module for F Body
16188309 knock module for B Body

F body uses 1 knock sensor and B body uses 2 knock sensors, the B body knock sensors are wired in parallel and connect to the same pin D22 so I'd doubt you'd be able to program 1 out in the ECM with them being connected to a common input

Because the ECM hardware is the same I wondering if the only difference between the knock modules is the F body is configured to see the resistance of 1 knock sensor and the B body is configured to see the resistance of 2 knock sensors wired in parallel?

I've read that the OBD1 B-cars have the sensors wired in parallel. All you'd really need to do to run the F-body module is use 1 sensor and leave the other pigtail unplugged. The knock tables in the computer correspond to whatever module you're running. AFAIK there isn't any way to tell the computer how many sensors you have or their arrangement in the bin.

Edit 2/19/18
I tried doing this on my 95 Roadmaster (unplugging 1 sensor, running OBD1 f-body module, copied tables in tune from 95 Z28 M6 in Tunerpro) and it didn't work. I don't think the standard EE definition has the ability to make it work without throwing a code 43 (knock sensor voltage). The SES can be tuned out but I'm not sure if the car will react to knock normally. If the base tune was from a f-body this wouldn't be an issue, but I don't know if the f-body bin would kill the diagnostics mode in the hvac controls or how it would interact with the bcm. I'll have to give it a try and see what happens or maybe play with the current tune in EEX.
