Wow, that thing is done on all four corners. I pray no one was hurt and walked away. I hate that it got wadded up, but at least you are here to post about it.

K guys,
Dead man is talking.
Well it was around 11pm on the florida turnpike driving from miami to port saint lucie. Not really many cars on the road and had my radar on and had cruise control at about 100mph. Around hobe sound florida (about 15 mins from my destination) my steering felt lil sloppy then all of a sudden nothing and lost control and went nose first in the right guard rail. I remember thinking "this is it" and i honestly accepted death and didnt prepair for impact. After i hit the wall everything went black, all the lights, and everything. (Btw irrestonsibly i had no seatbelt on & my passengers side window was open) and after darkness i remember swooshing around in the car for a split second and next thing i know im sliding on my back for about 50-100 feet. (Got ejected out the passenger side window). Once my body and car got to a rest i immediately got up and felt myself and i felt fine even though my 2nd & 3rd layer skin was showing out of my shirt and had a big gash in my scalp. Saw my car and my heart sunk. (Was my mothers brand new and she passed in 2015 from ovarian cancer). My car came to a rest at about half way in the fast last and the other half in the part that buzzes the tires. Tried to flag cars down (and this part of the turn didnt have street lamps) for about 5 mins and no one would stop. It wasnt until an white 2014 impala grazed my passenger door. Walked over after she pulled over to make sure she was ok. She was fine and only minor door damage. Thats not the worst part. About 1 minute later i was walking back to my car to see if i can find my phone . i got to about 5 feet from the front of my car when i noticed a big fedex 18 wheeler going about 70mph flying and not stopping. Realized he was going to hit my baby. I jumped over the guard rail to avoid beinf taken out by this ******* semi and he slammes in the back and the car flies like a bowling pin. The semi then starts to catch fire on the drivers side and i instinctively freaked out and ran towards the burning truck while it was going down about 100 yards. It stopped and by this time im scared hes inside burning alive. I ran up to the passenger side door. As i was about to open it he screams "im right here" behind me on side sitting on the guard rail. What a relieve i felt. I guess i didbt see him jump out while the truck was rolling and i was running. At this point the truck is flamming pretty damn fast. Took about 45 seconds till the whole rig is on fire. Soon after we called 911 and i was air lifted to lynwood medical center. No broken bones or concussions. Just road rash all over my back, 7 staples in my head. Doctors said 4 out of 100 ejections are survival. Let alone walking like nothinf happened. Im thankful and i believe my mother was looking out for me. She was a big camaro enthusiest since high school and was into street racing herself back in her day. She also survived a 4 flip crash in her iroc back in 1989. Crawled out the passengers side when the car was upside down. On the bright side i had never seen so many hot nurses hostpital before. Lol but in all seriousness ill miss that car. Ill never be able to replace the amazing memories i had in that car. Just more thankful i have a 2nd chance at life and im onlyia 25 year old mechanic.
Got out the hostpital the next day and went to see my car in the yard. The only thing that was retrievable in the car was my radar detector. Sold a guy at the junk yard a MSD spark plug kit & wires (that was still underneath my passengers seat) for 20 buckdayIts actually on the roof in the pic. I was going to install this stuff the next day. Took a picture of the car and kissed it good bye. I was so spoiled and cried about the car instead of being thankful no one was killed or seriuosly injured. Anyways ill get another one. If anyone is selling a nice one in florida. Let me know. Thank you guys!

Hopefully you've had a real come to Jesus moment throughout all this. Your honesty is greatly appreciated, however if there are charges filed against you I would recommend deleting your story until everything has been finalized. If there are no charges filed against you the other drives still could come after you in civil court. I would suggest taking this thread down. Just FYI.

1. glad you and anyone else involved in the accident are OK
2. your confession (this thread and other social media) can and will be used against you if (read VERY likely) there are insurance claims by the truck and other car that will hit your insurance
3. I would delete your comments on what happened
