if its a tranny mount it should only clunk when you get on it, shouldnt have anything to do with idle. Go to jegs and get a Polyurithane Energy Suspension mount, VERY strong.

Mine did that exact same thing. Tranny mount at autozone was 20.00, no issues what so ever since.

Tranny Mount... mine did the same thing.
if you look at the tranny mount it will look ok but, get something to pry the tranny up and you will see the mount sepperate as you lift the tranny alittle.

If it's not the tranny mount you may want to look at the torque arm mount holes. I know on the stocker mine had become stretched and elongated and it would shift under different levels of acceleration.

I still think it's the tranny mount though.

you put a jack under the trans to keep it from falling, remove the old mount, replace with new mount, remove jack.

Tranny mount is easy to change, go with a good poly mount takes 30 mins or less. Mine was almost separated in two pieces and clunked on shifting. Otherwise just make sure your u-joints front/rear are in good shape. Doubt your rear-end is shot.
