I doubt it. The headlights are different and the nose of the hood is different as well.

Definitely not. Like previously stated, headlights are different and the nose of a LT1 leads to more of a point than an LS1.

That is either an LT1 warbird or a preditor hood you have displayed. I know US Exotics/Suncoast Creations made them.

An LT1 Fbody WS6 looks better to me than a LS1 Fbody WS6, so find one of them.

Thumbs up

Yea for a hood like that you need to buy it from suncoast creations. I think they have a website. There is a guy on Ebay selling hoods like that one for the early 4th gens. You might want to take a look. That is a nice look, but I love the clean smooth look of the original lt1 ram air hood.

I have the Ws6 Ram air hood for my car. My car is a Ws6. it's a 96. Pure Breed baby. Anyways I will look into those. Thanks guys!

I also do like my year ram air hood, but a change is always nice and refreshing and I would like to see how it looks on mine and see if I like it. IF anyone has or knows someone with one and is looking to get rid of it. PLEASE let me know! Thanks guys!

Why change a beautiful 96 WS6? That hood is the best looking hood for LT1 T/A's without a doubt. The newer LS1 WS6 syle scoops on an LT1 T/A doesn't look good at all to me, doesn't go with any of the body lines. If you feel like wasting $500 on just a "change" then why not by a dam camshaft and feel a "changed" acceleration, that'd be the smarter thing to do.

I have a cam. Thanks for you input.

ANYWAYS! A friend just imformed me of a hood called the raptor and i have been looking at them. If i could find a nice used one i would do it, but until then i'll keep my hood. There is a slight difference in the degree in which the nostril turns on the regular 98+ hood. Oh well. I'll just keep looking!

I should update that. My job is now looking up and i'm super happy. I found a brand new Lt1 engine that my neghbor has and he is not going to use it so i will be inheriting it. So everything is lookking up! So the car is really not for sale anymore!
