Yea i agree with 96caprice. I would suggest the CC305 or the LT4 hot cam kit, the kit would be cheaper cause it comes with everything. You dont wanna throw a cam in with stock springs, rods.etc. I put a cam similar to the size of a CC306 on stock internals in my 91 TA (TPI) and i ran good for about a week and it pulled the rocker arm studs out of the head. I could have got away with it if they were screw in studs like the vette heads, but i had to learn that the hard way

for the hotcam or really any cam at that you need to replace your springs, lifters, rockers (1.6RRs if you can afford it) and all the necessary hardware.
To add a HOT cam ("or really any cam at that", you do NOT need to change:
Lifters - that's old school advice for flat tappet cams
Rockers - the HOT cam can be run with stock rockers, or 1.5 rollers. It's best with 1.6, but it doesn't NEED them.
Springs - the HOT cam doesn't even need a spring change if you stick with 1.5 rockers. It needs it with a 1.6.
