I actualy have a pretty detailed list of things you can pull out in under an hour that totals up to 80lbs. Its fairly easy and when your back from the track you can put everything back in. I was going to do a write up but i figured no-one would care.

I would see some stuff, but how light do you want to go. I drive mine every day, so the passenger seat, and the stereo stays in. I have the whole AC System removed, back seats and belts, and the spare tire out, but some things I would leave in to keep the looks and the comfort there. Funny thing is all the stuff that I have taken out, I put in Eibach Springs and the LS1 Big Brakes, and all the weight came back...

if your car is a daily driver i would not go too far as to remove the front and rear bumper supports. it would be bad news if you got rear ended or you rear end someone else

Ya i will do it but remeber the things i remove are only temperary like for the day of going to the track it will not perminitly remove 80 lbs out of the car, unless you wanna leave out most of your interior. It sounds like alot of work but i can take everything out in under 45 min and have everything back in in under 30 min. if you guys are still intrested let me know and I will take pics and the whole 9 doing a walk through.

I removed 35Lbs or so this weekend.

Rear bumper support was 19.8
Sound deadener in cargo area was 3.2 ( you have to peel it)
sound deadener under carpet was 12.3

Did not take long. Was more reduction the the front K-member and lower arms took a tenth of the time and cost $800 less!

I removed my front/rear bumper supports on my DD with no problems. I also have no front sway bar, no rear seats, no spare tire/jack etc. I'll be getting this auto carpet at Menards for cheap, and it weighs nothing. If you really want to shave about 50 pounds off your front end, get a pair of 15x3.5 Weld Prostars that weigh 10 each, then put some lightweight durable tires on it.

That's what I'll be doing. I'll be shaving close to 200 lbs. off my car.

Yep, and they're not just static weight, they're ROTATING weight!
