With my h/c package? How much HP do they free up, is it worth getting them?

i dont think it really is .. they might few up a few hp but you wont really notice it too much. If you remember fanta from z28.com, he is running like 10.50's and still has the reg stock pullies.

alot of people say they are junk.. i dont have one, but everyone tends to agree that its a waste of money... now if you come across one for free or dirt cheap... then yea why not.... but not a necessity....

Yea, it does rev up quicker..I have a 34% underdrive one. I would say also that it puts less strain on everything it spins, like the Alternator and the Power Steering, cause it is spinning them slower.

Thats exactly why I got mine. I saw a dyno when a guy pulled the belt off and he picked up 10hp. The pulley won't gain that much but it will help some.

The main reason for pullies as far as power gains go is to slow the water pump. since our pump is gear driven you wont see much. an alternator takes 1/3 hp to spin and i am not sure of the amount needed to spin the ps pump but probably little as well. would not waste time with them unless as stated before you can get an awesome deal on them.

How is is going to slow the Water Pump? That will always spin as fast as the Cam Shaft is spinning...which is half of your RPM's.
