As you can see in my sig I was thinking valvetrain refresh. No cam yet just springs rockers and the other goodies. But am not sure yet. Lets see how the poll comes out.
Also this is my daily driver in college and I havent ever been to the track and probably wont for a while. not enough time really. I just want a street beast that will be beating up on some ls1's and others. Mainly city driving and maybe 180-200 mile round trips about 1-4 times a month.

Yea that was what I was thinking. Just trying to figure out what will give me the best bang for buck and seat of pants feel ya know?
I am assuming with a nice valvetrain upgrade and freshening my motor will really respond better and I have heard gains of like 20rwhp.
Also this will help the longevity of my motor? I assume so right?

I don't know about +20rwhp, but they are more durable and lighter than stock stamped rockers.
You'll probably see 10-15 and have an upgrade that will help you when you decide to do a cam later on.

If you are just wanting a "kick in the pants" go with the gears. Installing better valve springs and 1.6 rockers will add a little extra power. Pushrods would be a waste of money at the RPM that you will be turning. Until you make a bunch more HP I wouldn't change a bunch in the suspension. I went 1.41 on a factory torque arm and panhard bar.
Good Luck,

Thanks for all the info guys. From what the poll has shown and talking to some local friends it looks like I'm gonna go with the rear suspension for now. Wait on the valvetrain until I can afford the entire h/c package and then do the 3.42 with drag radials at the same time. Sound good?
