Default Fan help

why don't my fans come on? my motor got up to about 260 yesterday. all i did was drive about 1 block and my fans never came on. what temp does your guys cars run at.

try turning the a/c on and see if your pass side fan (high speed) side comes on

Fans should come on at 226 and 235. Or when the AC is on, and high when head pressure reaches 248PSI.

You might want to check your cooling fan switch, located on the behind water pump.

I'm new to this site. Here is what I did to remedy this issue w/my '97 WS6 Formula.
PCM tune,160* T-Stat. ALso did Throttle Body bypass, no cooling issue fix here just a dyno proven 6hp gain.

I did all the sensor replacement, fan removal&function check, cooling system flush, etc. The bottum line is the engine temp. settings from the factory for the fans to come on is too high. I sent my PCM to tuner@madz28.com and am very happy with the results.
