Default LT1 Bore or Stoke?

What's going on. Recently purchased a 94 Z28 lacking motor and tranny. Found a wrecked car with a decent motor and now for a rebiuld. Just wanted some opinions on what I should do to the motor while its out. Nothing major is wrong with it just want some more HP. I know I have alot of options, just don't know what road to go down. I want to be able to spray this motor sooner or later, so I have to build it to hold a least 100-250 shot. I know alot of people preferre stoked motor but I don't want to spend a arm and leg trying to piece it together. I do want to build it mainly for street. I will take to the strip every now and then to get some times but thats it. Just want some good opinions on what would be the best option. Just boreing to 355, or just go all out and stroke to 383 or 396?

lsx would require a lot of wiring changes ... either would have to run a dual pcm setup ... or rewire the whole cluster to the new motor.

Not really wanting to go to LT4 setup. You can get plenty of power out of a LT1 imo.... and like titter said I would have to change alot of things just to make it work.

if you goto a 355 you will be boring .030 over ... if you are boring .030 might as well get it clearanced a little bit more, and get a 3.75 crank and go with the 383. you can build a bad *** lt1 for a decent price now. if you dont plan on spinning the motor really high the 2 bolt main would be fine ... if you want to play it safe get it splayed to a 4 bolt. the lt1 intake can be ported, but if you goto an aftermarket afr head you will eventually need to goto an lt4 intake. personally you can port the lt1 stock intake and heads to flow very well, good enough for the 383. a nice sized cam, with a decent lobe can be tuned very well now for street use, and you can build a bad *** motor for around 4-5k using good parts .... i am sure some of the better builders on here can break down prices for you, and probably get it even cheaper.
