Default 7000rpm

Ok.here is the problem

I need to spin the motor to 7000rpm but canīt go higher tha 5000rpm them it pops and looses all power

New stuff:MSD Coil,Wires and Cap and Rotor kit,NGK tr55,255l Walbro and A tune from PCMforless

What could be causing this?

can that cam handle 7000 rpm????? whats the LSA on it? Your cam is almost like mine and I shift at 6500 rpm. But even then you should be getting more than 6000. What is rev limiter set at?

Why do you NEED to rev to 7K on stock bottom end and those specs in your sig

I'm willing to bet the farm there is no reason for him to spin to 7000 with that setup.

with that small of cam @ 7000 it is not gonna give you anymore power, you'll be lossing it especially if the LSA is 112 or higher. 7000 is pointless for that setup

112 LSA on 108 IC and the cambuilder told me 6-7k is peak power, but installed straight up

Opti is fine

Iīm thinking about the tune and fuel tables because it farts at 5000-5500rpm and looses power

Heads are ported to flow 270s at 0.525 lift so no problem,cr is about 12:1

The rev limiter is off

Your setup looks like it shoudl be shifted at 6500-6700

If its a hard breakup at 5k you likely have a bad opti or other ignition issue. I may be able to see something in a datalog if you sent one to me.

A 93 car will not turn 7k or past that. The computer shuts the car down I know cause i've tried and even happen again on a solid roller 93 LT1 I did here locally about 2 weeks ago.
