Default $0.85 Optispark screw removal tool.

Here is my super custom made optispark removal tool for the cost of bubble gum. The whole thing cost 85 cents from Ace hardware. Sure beats $25.00+ for socket sets you will never use on anything else.

Torx head screw $0.50
Wing nut $0.25
Jam nut $0.10
Opti cap removed...Priceless

I just jammed the nut and the wing nut together with some locktite and ground the torx head down a tad to fit in the recessed areas of the cap.

The thing worked perfectly to remove those retarded inverse torx headed 3.5mm screws.

I bought a little mini driver from Sears, its supposed to go on a metric tiny bolt, but it fits on the E or reverse torx. thats how I got mine off, if you want I can post up some pics,

But anyways, kudos on the MacGuyver I would have never thought of that

Good job! The ACE Hardware stores around here don't have torx head bolts--they look at me like I'm crazy when I ask. Your invention would prevent stripping the threads on the throttle body screws and you can't beat the price.
