Default Bret Bruer

This is my 1st post here. I ordered a custom cam from Bret last week. There was some shipping miscommunication which delayed me getting some parts.

When I contacted Bret in regards to the above I was expecting the usual tough guy wannabe too bad attitude. To my surprise I was greeted with whatever it takes to correct it I will response from Bret. He offered anything from a return to him even driving 4 hours to my place to install to make up for lost time.

This guy is top notch all the way. When one is shopping for parts it is not always the cheapest initial amount but the overall cost and follow up support that should be taken into account. Try getting that from one of the big mail order guys.

I wii post results of the custom grind when she is up and running. If the performance gain is anything like Bret's service I am sure I will be pleased.

By the way the custom cam set up was really a couple bucks more than the off the shelf deal.

Thanks, Brian

It's nice to hear positive feedback like this rather than things going wrong. I had the same good experience with byunspeed, great customer service

Yup! That sounds like Bret. I've thrown many questions at him and always got a speedy and accurate response. Thanks to him and Lloyd, my car runs awesome.

I can say the same about a small issue with a valve spring that I had a few months back. He was cool about the situation and didn't question my integrity. He handled it simply and quickly.

Always good to hear good things about shops. People are so quick to rant off about shops.

Good to hear.

Just got too many "r" s in the last name.

Hey, with enough reasons Bret has gone over 2000 miles to visit customers. I think it was the beer that got him to Texas last year. I'm not sure what the attraction was for the Hawaii trip...

He's young, couldn't have been the bikinis could it? We kinda remember what that's like, don't we? When you get our age, we need mirrored sunglass to look, so we don't get branded as dirty old men.

Ed, you would be suprised. There were only a handfull of cuties in Hawaii, luckily I brought my own.

Ellis, I wish I could visit you for just a short trip. Gotta get my own lear jet for that one.

Brian, Too bad you can't show them what the motor is in! Either way thanks for the feedback.

Bret, the girl watching was not bad when I was there in 1997. Things change, and the older you get the lower your standards become.

I would turn around and check out one Bret would probably not notice. Might have something to do with what you are used to seeing at home.

If I want Jeanie to know I said that, I'll tell her, right???
