Best LT1 cam for mild headword
What is the best cam to go with to get most power with only mild head work?
Right now (well, before i tore the engine down), I had a cc305 with stock heads and It was surprisingly quick, but i want a little more!
Ive heard about a "joe o" cam that is supposably good, but where the hell do i get a "joe o" cam? and what are the specs? lol

joe o is a custom cam maker but i don't think he does it anymore. As for customs there are a few people that do them. cc306 is pretty good off the shelf so is the cc503. to get the most power you should go custom but it will cost you around 350+

the 503 isn't much of a step of from my 305, and from what ive read the 306 is based off of "old technology" which im assuming is was designed more for carbed motors, so its not as efficient for fuel injection (just what ive read... theres obviously a lot of fast cars running it though).... any other suggestions?

If you think the 306 is old as in old for carbd motors, you need to read some more.
I would definatly do a custom grind. If you have the specs on what your heads flow it will help a tremendous amount.
Wish you luck!
