Default went to the dyno today

Yah I went to the dyno finally today. Not to impressed but hey it was fun as hell. The numbers are 236 hp and 261tq at the wheels with a cai and open cutout. Without the cut out it was 225 hp and the same tq. Time for some more modding. I have a vid too that ill post up soon. It was on a dynojet. oh yah this is through a stock a4 with 2.73s

Thats sorta normal, if not a little low. How many miles are on your car?

Don't really care for dyno numbers though. 1/4 mile times speak for themselves.

114K miles isn't bad. As long as your not loosing compression and it got plenty of oil changes, you should be good. But I still say screw the dyno sheets. If your in the 15's, there is a problem. You should be around 14-14.1 seconds.

That does seem low.

Do a full tuneup and fluid change on the car and see how it behaves. You'd be surprised what simple stuff can really help if the car hasn't been taken care of in a while.
