LT4 Hot Cam ?
Hi guys well first of all i would like to thank you guys in advance for your time. Well after some thinking and doing some research i have decided that I will be purchaseing the hot cam kit to get a little more power , until i have sufficient funds to to build a LE2 or 3 forged 355 with a nice 175 shot of the juice in the future and was wondering if new pushrods and lifters need to be puchased to use the hot cam or are the stock pieces fine. Thank you ounce again.

How many miles do you have? Might consider new lifters depending on mileage. The only reason to change pushrods would be a bent/damaged stock or your switching to NonSelf-Aligning roller rocker arms. In that case your'd need hardend pushrods.

i have 94k miles on my 95 lt1. I will be installing the cc305 which is similar to the lt4 hotcam. I am installing 1.6 rockers, guideplates, hardened pushrods, new springs, locks, retainers, new studs, timing chain, also decided to put in the msd cap and rotor while the opti is out.
Im pretty sure Summit put the hotcam in a package deal with most of this stuff.

It does not include pushrods or lifters. My thought on the situation is -- do it once do it right. If you've already got everything apart, and the factory parts have 100k+ miles on them, why wouldn't you replace them? It'll save you a headache later of having to take things apart again if anything breaks.
Why do I know this? Because I did the Hot Cam kit about 15k miles ago, and now I've got the car apart again replacing a collapsed lifter and three bent pushrods.
Save yourself the headache and do it all at once.
Also along with those hardparts, you're going to need all of the necessary gaskets and (personally) I'd suggest getting a new oe replacement timing set while you've got everything apart as well.
