Default SBC heads on an LT1 - Who?

We are looking for someone to modify SBC heads to fit on an LT1 with a SBC intake.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

The benefit to SBC heads is the large number of aftermarket heads to choose from.

can you not make a sbc work with a lt1 computer...with fuel injection and a single plain conversion, all youd have to do is install a knock sensor and coolant temp sensor...right? o2 in the exhaust and iat and maf in the intake elbow...ect...i thnk i made that sound a little too easy but it doesnt seem like it would be all that hard..

All you need to make a SBC to work is a SBC roller block

Well...we have a built LT1 already - We want to run gen1 heads so that we can run an unmodified EFI carb style intake for the aluminum elbow we are running...

This is a turbo car, so we would like to be able to switch intakes without having to modify them all the time. Doing the heads once would be better then doing the intakes everytime.

Thanks for the help everyone!

I did the same thing, but mine is normally aspirated, Super Vic and Pro Action 235's. If you are gonna run conventional small block intakes, no need to mess with the intake side holes.

You can also have the LT1 heads redrilled to accept SBC intakes
