Default Anyone used this elbow?

I've been seeing these on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Brand...spagenameZWDVW

...Thought about getting one to replace my 1LE just for looks only...Anyone have any feedback on the fit and finish? Thanks...

I just bought it and installed it on mine. I had to do some triming on the connectors and they fit a little lose you have to really crank the clamps down. It took me awhile to install because of how big it is but it seems to be holding up alright. The elbow does seem to get pretty hot though.

I Got The Trickflow Elbow. Had To Trim About 1/4 Inch So I Could Get My Airbox Square.i Put Some Thermo-tec Heat Wrap On The Underside To Combat The Heat.

That looks EXACTLY like my trick flow elbow. Instructions look identical... thats funny...

If it is identical, it will fit just fine. Had absolutely no problems what-so-ever with mine. You'll have to drill out the hole for the opti vent line if your using one.

That looks nice and clean...^^^^ I'm also wondering if I'll have issues with my TB because its the Accel/LPE 58mm and its about 1/4-1/2" deeper than others I've seen and sticks out towards the radiator a bit more...mmmm...Do you have any clearance between your elbow and the TB or is it almost touching?

^^^ Thanks! I liked the black elbow since its not as obvious and since I'm not really doing any other shiny parts, it kinda fits.

The elbow has about a 1/4"-1/2" clearance between it and the radiator shroud. The K&N CAI rubber coupling (between the maf and big-plastic-K&N elbow) is pressed snug up against the radiator shroud. You can sort of see in the picture from the side there.

I will be insterested to see some of the reviews, as it really looks like a great alternative to spending $90 on the trickflow. Thanks for posting it up ABA383.

No problem...It is much cheaper than the Trick Flow and if it works, then its a good deal...There's nothing wrong with my 1LE elbow, but its kinda squished a wee bit because the LPE TB is bigger/deeper than others, so it throws off the geometry of everything...

Anymore folks out there with this elbow?..

Never been a fan of aftermarket elbows because they are usually shinny. But I like how it's powder coated. Would the heat soak make things worse?

Is the trick flow plastic or metal? Im assuming the EBAY elbow is metal because its getting hot.

Thumbs down

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A LARGER TB. I WILL POST UP PICTURES LATER. It fits ok on a stock TB but it hinders flow on my 58mm TB.

The trickflow elbow is metal. I just got the ceramic coated one to combat the heat. So yes its shiny but I don't care.

Hey, thanks!...I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it....I have an LPE 58mm TB and don't need any restriction...
