I was wondering if they make something rather than a problematic Opti spark? Thanks in advance

ltcc is probably the best option imo.

price wise the Delteq and LTCC are pretty close, but the LTCC has more options built in.

And both still use a lot of the stock opti.

Thre opti is not a bad unit, it gets a bad rap because people are too stupid to understand EVERY distributor cap and rotor are wear items and since they are expensive and a bit difficult to access on the LT1 they get neglected. Then people blame the failure on design rather than admit that neglect.

Yes some folks have high rpm issues with stock rotors, other beefv them up slightly and have no issues. The MSD cap and rotor kit seems to be good and have the high rpm rotor issues solved as well.

LTCC Keeps the opti just does not use it for high voltage distribution.
Delteq does pretty much the same thing just uses a different coil setup.

Both reuse the optical part of the opti.

Ltcc uses 8 coils vs Delteq's 4.

stock uses one so 4 is already a HUGE gain in saturation time. I am not trying to say one is better than the other just that the 4 vs. 8 as a reason to pick one over the other is pointless when the stock single works fairly well. The LTCC does have some nice features in the rev limit and two stage retard which I would consider of FAR more value than the 8 coils.
