Default What should it run?

I just picked up an LT1 project car and really don't have a clue as to what it might run when I am finished with it because I don't know much about LT1's, I have been an LSx man so far

Here are the specs for the build:

95' Z28

-Engine-
Freshly rebuilt longblock w/ stock rods & pistons and an eagle crank
stage 1 heads (milled for extra compression)
port matched intake
GM Hotcam w/ 1.6 RR's
Hooker long tube headers
Cold air intake
ported TB

-Transmission-
Built 700r4
3600 rpm billet convertor

-suspension-
torque arm (not sure what kind yet)
LCA's
Panhard bar

-Wheels-
draglites w/ 26" ET streets

Like I said earlier, I have always worked with LSx's motors/cars and don't have a clue as to what an LT1 setup like this would run ET/MPH wise. Any ideas?

I'd say 17s or so. Might get a high 16 if you're lucky!!

J/K man. What happened to the truck? Did you sell it and get this?

Sold the truck awhile back, I just didn't really need it anymore.

I picked this car up because a friend of mine needed to get rid of it and it was just WAYYYY too good of a deal to pass up

I plan on building it, playing with it for a bit and then selling it to make a little money

Throw some 3.73's in the rear and you might see 12.30's

It has 3.42's in it now. With the steep first gear in the 700r4 do you really think it would make that much of a difference?

as stated before ....mid/low 12's depending on weight....3.42's are ok for driving...3.73's for racing

Throw a kit on it and run low 11's

340rwhp or so, mid low 12's around 110. get that hotcam out of there and throw in a custom grind and I bet you could run low 12's all day long.

How much more power could be made with a larger cam? This is a budget build and I am trying to keep the cost as low as possible. I already have the hotcam now, that is why I was going to use it.

depending on the heads you can make 25-50 more HP with a different cam...I will cut you a smokin deal on my old custom grind.....
