Would a transgo shift kit in a 4l60e from an LS1 fit the 4l60e in a 94 LT1?
Don't mean to hijack if I am.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm pretty sure the only difference between the 4L60E in the LT1s and LS1s is the bellhousing and input shafts. Don't quote me on that though. If you are serious about getting a rebuild, give Dana at Probuilt Automatics a call and he'll set you up with a good package of parts.

94 is a 4L60E, but uses a different converter (same as the 700R4/4L60) than the later (95-97 LT1). The lock-up clutch on the later ones is pulse modulated. The older style is an on/off style. The electronics are different between the 2. I'm not sure about the connector. I have heard that you can use a later trans by disabling the solenoid for the pulse modulation.
