Will running an open cut out on my 94Z right after the y-pipe be bad for the car, Could it burn the valves or screw up the o2 sensors?

Im pretty sure it would screw up the o2's unless you got a tune. If you still have ur cat just remove it then get your car tuned otherwise its gonna run like crap.

No it wouldn't be bad at all. Everyone puts their cutout on the I pipe right before it goes over the axle.

I've personally had mine there for ~20k miles with no problems.

I have two cutouts right behind my LTs collectors, I run them open all the time. No problems here, I have rear O2 simulators though

Cutout after the y-pipe will not do any harm at all. I would personally stay no less than a foot after the collectors so the o2s don't read outside air.

I like to cruise with my windows open most of the time, so I mounted mine in the back so I don't choke myself out, right in front of the rear tire area.
